L\u2019IRM c\u00e9r\u00e9brale a montr\u00e9 une augmentation des l\u00e9sions isch\u00e9miques c\u00e9r\u00e9brales chez des patients ablat\u00e9s de fibrillation atriale (FA) avec une incidence plus \u00e9lev\u00e9e li\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019utilisation de certains cath\u00e9ters.<\/p>\n

Objectif de cette sous-\u00e9tude\u00a0:<\/u><\/strong><\/h3>\n

Comparer le taux d\u2019AVC infracliniques en fonction de la strat\u00e9gie th\u00e9rapeutique utilis\u00e9e chez des patients ablat\u00e9s de FA (ablation par radiofr\u00e9quence haute puissance-courte dur\u00e9e vs ablation par RF conventionnelle).<\/p>\n

M\u00e9thodologie et population \u00e9tudi\u00e9e\u00a0:<\/u><\/strong><\/h3>\n

Une IRM c\u00e9r\u00e9brale a \u00e9t\u00e9 effectu\u00e9e dans les 24 heures qui suivaient une ablation chez 144 patients ablat\u00e9s de FA (75 dans le bras ablation conventionnelle et 69 dans le bras haute puissance) sous anticoagulants ininterrompus et avec un ACT cible durant la proc\u00e9dure de 350 sec.<\/p>\n

Principales conclusions\u00a0:<\/u><\/strong><\/h3>\n

  • 3 patients ont pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 un AVC clinique.<\/li>\n
  • Il existait des l\u00e9sions isch\u00e9miques c\u00e9r\u00e9brales infra cliniques chez 41% des patients.\"\"<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
      \n
    • Il existait une augmentation significative des l\u00e9sions isch\u00e9miques c\u00e9r\u00e9brales dans le groupe ablation haute puissance et chez les patients ablat\u00e9s de FA persistante.<\/li>\n
    • Pas de diff\u00e9rence entre les 2 groupes en termes d\u2019h\u00e9morragies infra-clinique.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
